Harrison Boyd earned his BBA summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi and subsequently earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law alongside his MBA. He practices business and real estate law, bringing a practical, real-world perspective to the concepts students encounter in business coursework.
Since 2021, Harrison has worked extensively with University of Mississippi business students—building structured study resources and tutoring across core classes such as Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Information Technology in Business. Outside of legal practice, Harrison is the founder of Boyd Apex Group, where he supports companies with strategy and operations, helping teams improve systems, streamline workflows, and execute at a higher level.
Harrison is passionate about helping Ole Miss business students truly understand the “why” behind the material—so it sticks beyond the exam and becomes useful in internships, interviews, and real work. He believes business concepts are learnable skills that improve quickly with the right structure, repetition, and application.
Students often describe his approach as clear, organized, and encouraging: breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, focusing on the most testable ideas, and building confidence through guided practice. Harrison also encourages students to begin tutoring early in the semester and meet consistently, so they can stay ahead of the pace of the course and see steady progress over time.
Harrison looks forward to helping Ole Miss students build confidence, master core concepts, and achieve their academic and career goals through disciplined, practical study. He is proud to serve the Oxford community through his partnership with King and welcomes students who are ready to work hard and succeed.
