Academic Coaching

What is the Difference?

Tutoring focuses on helping students master specific subject areas. Our tutors provide step-by-step instruction, answer questions, and reinforce academic skills to enhance understanding and performance in subject areas or course content.

Academic coaching, on the other hand, supports overall student success. Coaches collaborate with students to build effective study habits, boost confidence, and improve time management, organization, and classroom performance. The goal of academic coaching is to create sustainable habits by fostering independence and equipping them with a mindset that encourages ongoing educational and personal development. This type of coaching is ideal for students who need help developing strategies for academic success that extend beyond subject knowledge.

What is Executive functioning?

Executive functioning includes the cognitive processes that help students manage their time, tasks, and responsibilities effectively. These skills are crucial for success in school and life.

  • Organization

  • Creating Study Habits and Good Study Skills

  • Task Management & Working Memory

A plus is that we have both, so no worries regardless of your student's needs.
